The 25-year-old Bangladesh National Cricket Team all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz won the Player of the Series award in the three-match ODI series between Litton Das & Co. and the India National Cricket Team.
The all-rounder played a key role in Bangladesh’s marvellous 2-1 ODI series triumph over the visitors. In the first ODI, while chasing 187, Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals and were reduced to 136/9 and it looked like the Men In Blue will win the match.

However, game-changer Mehidy Hasan Miraz had different plans as he played a counterattack knock and built a remarkable 51-run partnership with Mustafizur Rahman to help Bangladesh seal a 1-wicket victory.
In the second ODI, Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first. They were reduced to 69/6, but Mehidy Hasan Miraz built a remarkable partnership with Mahmudullah to help his side post a good total of 271/7 on the board. Also, the partnership between Mahmudullah and Mehidy was the primary reason behind Bangladesh’s 5-run win in the game.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz looked unstoppable in the second ODI and smashed his maiden century off 83 balls and his innings comprised 8 fours and 4 sixes. With the ball, Mehidy bagged 4 wickets in the series.

Speaking after the third ODI between India and Bangladesh, Mehidy Hasan Miraz lauded Team India and said that they are a good side across all three formats of the game.
He added that Team Bangladesh have been performing well in the last few years and they can definitely do well at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, which is set to be held in India. Mehidy Hasan Miraz said:
“They are a good side in every format. Last couple of years we have been doing well. We have a World Cup in front and we can do well next year.”
He further said that there are several seniors in the squad, who keep supporting the youngster. The 25-year-old said:
“We have a lot of senior guys. They are supporting us. We gain confidence. We want to get better. I try to think.”
Meanwhile, Bangladesh faced a humiliating 227-run defeat in the third ODI at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Saturday, December 10.
