Bangladesh Cricket Team had a terrific morning session where they went unscathed and scored 119 runs in 42 overs. Zakir Hasan & Najmul Shanto showed immense mental application as the oddball was keeping low. Both the batters struck half-centuries and surprisingly Kuldeep Yadav didn’t get help from the pitch.
In the afternoon session, Skipper KL Rahul was spot-on with his field placings. The decision to bring back Umesh Yadav did wonders for the team as the speedster got rid of the well-set Shanto. Shanto scored 67 runs in 156 balls where he struck 7 fours. The skipper continued his attacking tactics as Axar Patel bowled Yasir Ali.
Kuldeep Yadav & Virat Kohli Fumed Up Over Umpire
At the end of 64 overs, Bangladesh’s score was 160-2. Kuldeep Yadav was given the 65th over, the left-arm chinaman was getting sharp turn and bounce; on the 5th ball of the over, Kuldeep Yadav bowled a leg break and hit on Litton’s pads but the umpire gave not out. Late KL Rahul reviewed the decision where ball-tracking showed the impact umpire’s call and hitting stumps. Virat Kohli & Kuldeep Yadav were angry over the decision whereas Head Coach Rahul Dravid was frustrated with the decision.

Critical Phase for Bangladesh
Bangladesh would be hoping that all the hard work of the spinners doesn’t go in vain. Zakir Hasan would be aiming to bat as deep as possible as the batter has looked ominous. Bangladesh very well knows that conditions are going to the worse session by session as they need to bring their ‘A’ game.
The veteran off-spinner Ashwin surprisingly hasn’t gotten rewards for his hard work as the spinner us yet to pick a wicket in the Test Match. In the evening session, a new ball would be available and it would be interesting whether India straightaway takes it as the spinners are getting a lot of turn.
