Shaheen Afridi is paying for rehabilitation and flight ticket, and PCB not supporting its players

The Pakistan Cricket Board has named Shaheen Shah Afridi to the team for the T20 World Cup. A new controversy has come up regarding the fitness of Shaheen Shah Afridi just before a month of the T20 World Cup. The Pakistan Cricket Board has been accused of not giving money for the treatment of Shaheen Shah Afridi. These allegations have not been made by anyone but by Shahid Afridi, the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team.

In July, during the Test series played against Sri Lanka, Shaheen Shah Afridi got injured while fielding. It was a serious injury, but the PCB ignored that. Due to this injury, Shaheen Afridi could not even be a part of the Asia Cup.

At that time, it was reported that Shaheen Afridi has gone to England for treatment. Now Shahid Afridi has cleared and alleged that he did not receive any support from PCB. Afridi claims that Shaheen Afridi reached England on a flight with his own money and is getting treatment there with his own expenditures.

Shaheen Afridi will be part of the World Cup

Afridi said, “Shaheen Afridi went to England on a flight with his own money and is living there by spending his money. I arranged a doctor there for Shaheen Afridi and Shaheen contacted him. In this complete process, PCB didn’t show any courtesy and didn’t do anything. As far as I know, Shaheen is doing everything there on his own.

Shahid Afridi has also claimed that he is close to being fully fit and will be a part of the T20 World Cup. However, Afridi said that the Pakistan Cricket Board should take care of its players and arrange medical facilities for them.
