Mark Wood Doubtful For Final Against Pakistan

England Cricket Team is all set to lock horns against Pakistan on 13th November (Sunday). England holds an edge over Pakistan as they have got a long batting line-up. At the same time, they have got a lot of variety in their attack as with the rise of Livingstone, skipper Jos Buttler can rotate his bowlers quite easily.

Pakistan on the other hand once again would be banking on their duo Babar & Rizwan to give the team a solid start. The Men in Green can’t afford to get complacent as one bad phase of the match can spoil all their hard work. All eyes would be on Shaheen Afridi as he has rediscovered his mojo and has looked threatening.

Huge Blow For England

Mark Wood is someone who not only has got express pace but he also bowls impeccable lines and lengths. The right-arm speedster can be used in 3 spells and has the knack of picking up wickets regularly. England has a golden chance to win their second T20 World Cup as the last time they had won was way back in 2010 under the leadership of Paul Collingwood. Pakistan had won T20 World Cup in 2009 and has been the most successful team in the history of the T20 World Cups.

Pakistan Cricket Team would be somewhat relieved as Wood had created a havoc in the recently concluded Pakistan vs England T20I Series where he took 6 wickets from 2 matches. Pakistan though cannot take England lightly as they have got the experienced Chris Jordan present in the team who took 3 crucial wickets of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli & Hardik Pandya. The right-arm pacer knows how to fox the batters with his tricky variations. England would be hoping that Wood is fit for the clash as they will have a psychological advantage.
