IND vs NZ: “You Will Have To Find More Multi-dimensional Players Like Him, Just Like The England Team…”

Team India suffered an embarrassing exit from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 as they were beaten by England in the semi-finals at the Adelaide Oval. The Rohit Sharma-led team managed to score 168 for the loss of six wickets at the end of 20 overs, but England chased down the target in just 16 overs without losing a wicket to knock India out.

Suryakumar Yadav has been in excellent form this year, smashing over 1000 runs at a stunning strike rate of 185.71 with nine half-centuries and a maiden T20I century against England in June. The 32-year-old set the T20 World Cup on fire with his 360-degree shot-making as he scored 239 runs from six innings with an average of 59.75 and an incredible strike rate of 189.67, including three half-centuries.

Suryakumar Yadav Will Revolutionize Indian T20 Cricket – Sanjay Bangar

Sanjay Bangar said that Suryakumar Yadav is an all-round batsman, and India need more players like him. The former India batting coach stated that India should look for more multi-dimensional players, similar to how England has all-rounders till the end of their lineup.

“Suryakumar Yadav is a player who will revolutionize Indian T20 cricket. You will have to find more multi-dimensional players like him, just like the England team, which is filled with all-rounders till No. 9 or No. 10,” Bangar told Star Sports.
