Hardik Pandya after winning the TATA IPL season 15th edition is on top of the world at the moment. And why not be when the player deserves it all to be in that place. Before IPL started there were many who questioned his participation in the team and not being a suitable choice for being a captain too but the 28-year-old proved all those people wrong to the core.
In the final match against the 2008 champions, Rajasthan Royals, the Gujarat Titans team wiped the RR team with 7 wickets in hand with 11 balls remaining which was quite an achievement. Just a game prior, it was not the case for the RR team as their star batsman, Jos Butler smashed a century making 106* against the RCB’s. Everybody thought, this time it’s the Rajasthan Royals who are going to lift the cup, but Hardik and his team had different plans reserved and played beautifully. The RR team in the final although opted for bat, but their focus did not seem aligned with.
The continuous falling of wickets was something that disrupted the RR team’s plan however, they tried to fix it through their bowling line-up somehow but what already was gone, was gone. We are talking time and opportunity that the RR team got while batting.

The entire RR team were restricted at 131, giving the GT and easy option to go through. But the easy option to go through was seriously taken by the GT team players and with 11 balls remaining they won the match and the tournament making history.
Krunal Pandya, who is the brother of Hardik Pandya, posted a heartfelt emotional note for his brother using his Twitter handle saying,
“People had written you off but you keep writing history. Wish I was there when more than a lakh people were cheering your name”
“My bro Only you know the amount of hard work that’s gone behind this success of yours – early mornings, countless hours of training, discipline and mental strength. And to see you lift the trophy is the fruits of your hard work You deserve it all and so much more”

In posting such praise for the player it was not only Krunal, but someone outside his family too. It was none other than the former cricketer and commentator now, Ian Bishop, who also posted his praise for the young cricketer through Twitter stating,
“Congrats to Hardik Pandya and his @gujarat_titans one of two franchises to win the IPL in their first season. Wonderful bowling unit and so many different guys stepping up all season.”
