“Consistent In Being Unfit”- Twitter Reacts As Rohit Sharma Is Ruled Out Of 2nd Test

The second Test match between Bangladesh and India, which begins on December 22 at Mirpur, will not include Rohit Sharma. The India captain won’t be making the trip to Dhaka after missing the first Test in Chattogram. In his absence, the squad would be led by vice-captain KL Rahul in the second and final Test of the series, which India leads 1-0.

On Monday (December 19), it was revealed that Rohit’s thumb injury from the current tour’s second ODI had not entirely healed. As a result, he was ruled unavailable.

BCCI Chose Not To Risk Rohit Sharma For Upcoming Games

There is a slight rigidity about him that is apparent. The BCCI, the selection committee, and the team management have chosen not to risk him at this time in light of the significant duties that will be coming up for the Indian squad.

For those who are unaware, Rohit Sharma, who captained India in the two One-Day Internationals, suffered a hand injury while fielding in the second ODI against Bangladesh on December 7 and was subsequently ruled out for the first Test.
