The second Test match between Bangladesh and India, which begins on December 22 at Mirpur, will not include Rohit Sharma. For those who are unaware, Rohit Sharma, who captained India in the two One-Day Internationals, suffered a hand injury while fielding in the second ODI against Bangladesh on December 7 and was subsequently ruled out for the first Test.

Rohit Sharma will be available for the second Test match against Bangladesh, according to recent news reports. As a result of his withdrawal, KL Rahul will now serve as Team India’s captain, with Shubman Gill opening the innings.

Rohit Sharma did not participate in the opening Test match of the two-game series between India and Bangladesh at Chattogram, which India won convincingly by a score of 188 runs.
